Museum of London

On Tuesday we went to the Museum of London. It was okay, but apparently a lot of the really cool stuff is under construction, so that explains why it wasn't as exciting as we'd hoped.

Still, here are some nifty pictures!

The very 1960's/1970's front of the Museum of London.

A pretty interesting outfit for a warrior, I'd say.

A picture of the Great Fire in London (which started on my birthday in 1666).
London around the time of the Great Fire.

A segment of floor from an old Roman home in London.

This is a Roman Tower from around the 13th century.

This is the wall that is connected to the tower...it's from around 200 AD

This is a model of the Rose Theatre...I thought it was the Globe, but the Rose flag proved me wrong (you can't see the flag, but it's there)

This throne looks SO uncomfortable!

I'm so glad armies don't fight in armor anymore...it looks like it would be impossible to move!

Chain mail...I'm glad we don't use this anymore too!

St. Paul's Cathedral (a model of it, obviously) before it was rebuilt (I don't know the time period on this one, but it looks nothing like this now...now it has a dome!)
